Dinand Library Procedures Guide: 11. Locker Policy

Procedures for Student Workers and Evening/Weekend Supervisors

11. Locker Policy

We have 36 lockers. They can be checked out for the academic year.

Locks with matching keys are available at the Dinand Circulation Desk. Any available locker can be used. One student per locker, one locker per student.

Lockers will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Students must check out a lock and key from the Dinand Circulation Desk to use a locker. No personal locks are allowed. Any books in unlocked lockers, or in a locker with an unauthorized lock, will be removed. Late/replacement fees apply.

By checking out a lock and key, you agree to abide by the locker policies stated here:

  • All materials stored in the locker must be checked out to the same patron. No food, drinks, or other personal belongings are allowed in the lockers.
  • Lockers are cleared out after Graduation. You must remove all materials from your assigned locker by that time.
  • Neither the Library nor the College assumes any liability for any theft or damage to items left in the storage lockers.
  • For the safety of our patrons and to ensure the protection of the collection, the Library reserves the right to inspect the lockers at any time.
