14. DVDs, Videos, CDs, and Microfilms

DVDs are located in the Media Room on the basement floor of Dinand Library (opposite end of Blue Room from Levis Browsing Room)

 

To check out a DVD, follow the steps for Checking Out a Book. DO NOT desensitize the DVD.

To check in a DVD, follow the steps for Checking In a Book. DO NOT re-sensitize the DVD. 

 

Videos, CDs, and Microfilms are located in the staff room area. They should be retrieved by a student worker or staff member. 

Videos and CDs can be checked out in the same way as DVDs. Microfilms can be used without being checked out. Patrons can use the Microfilm reader in the NEVINS room. 

 

Students can check out a DVD player from the circulation desk to watch DVDs, or watch them on the computer in the NEVINS room. We do not have access to a Blu-Ray player.

 

NEVER sensitize or desensitize VHS tapes, CDs, ad DVDs. It could erase the data from the item!!
