13. Items with Recall for Reserves or Hold Request

When Checking In items, you may see a pop-up indicating that the item has been Recalled for Reserves, or has a Hold Request. 

If an item has been Recalled for Reserves...

1. When you Check In the item, you will see a pop-up that reads: "Item has been Recalled for ABCD 123 Reserve."

2. Put the book on the Access Services Coordinator's desk along with a note indicting which course it should be on reserve for.

If an item has a Hold Request...

1. When you Check In the item, you will see a pop-up that reads: "Place title on Hold Shelf at Dinand Library Circulation Desk for request."

2. Check inside the box for Print Slip, then click Close. Print the slip from the new pop up window.

3. Click Save and Close.

4. Place the print slip inside the item and put a rubber band around the item. Put the item on the hold shelf behind the circulation desk. It will be kept on hold for the patron for 30 days. If the item is not picked up after 30 days, it will be returned to the stacks.
