Guest Printing

Use the Cash Out sheets located on the Hold Shelf behind the Circulation Desk.

Printing is $0.10 for single-sided sheets and $0.15 for double-sided. Cash or check only - no cards accepted.

1. On the left pane in PaperCut, click on the tab that says Printers.

2. In the new page titled Printer List, click the second tab at the top of the screen that says Jobs Pending Release.

3. In the column labeled User, look for the print jobs belonging to a guest login (ex. LIB1). Check how much they owe for the job. Patrons can pay at the circulation desk.

4. Collect money and write down the owed amount in the column labeled "Print" on the Cash Out sheet. Write down the amount collected. If necessary, make change from the cash drawer under the ILL counter.

5. In PaperCut, click on the patron's username (ex. LIB1). This will bring you to a new page. Add the collected amount to Credit. Click Apply.

6. Go back to the Printers/Jobs Pending Release page and release the print job (click Print).

7. Put the Cash Out sheet inside the cash drawer.
