CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF PETROLEUM PRODUCERS - This industry trade group, based in Calgary, represents approximately 130 companies doing business in the Canadian energy industry. The Statistical Handbook presents a historical summary of the Canadian petroleum industry’s progress, summarizing detailed statistical information.

Environment Northeast - provides data on efforts to combat global warming and promote clean energy and clean air solutions in New England and Eastern Canada.

FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION

This federal agency regulations interstate natural gas pipelines, oil pipelines and LNG receiving and export terminals.

Green Footstep - An assessment tool for reducing carbon emissions from building construction projects where you build your own data set. Registration is required.

IPAA – INDEPENDENT PETROLEUM ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA - Industry trade group, based in Washington, DC. The IPAA Oil and Gas Producing in Your State contains good state by state information:

MINERALS MANAGEMENT SERVICE - Federal agency in charge of managing the nation’s natural gas, oil and other mineral resources on the outer continental shelf (OCS).

NATIONAL PETROCHEMICAL AND REFINERS ASSOCIATION - This industry trade group, based in Washington, DC, annually publishes the US Refining and Storage Capacity Report . PETROLEOS MEXICANOS (PEMEX) - PEMEX is the national oil company of Mexico and is is the sole producer of crude oil, natural gas and refined products in that country. Refer to the annual Statistical Yearbook:

ORGANIZATION OF THE PETROLEUM EXPORTING COUNTRIES - This international agency, based in Vienna, is comprised of 12 oil-exporting countries in the developing world.

World Bank Energy and Mining data - Data on energy production, use, dependency, and efficiency compiled by the World Bank from the International Energy Agency and the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center.
