ABOUT RSS FEEDS

In the ever-expanding world of online information, RSS feeds are a great way to stay on top of current news.  By subscribing to online content using a RSS feed reader, you won't have to continually visit a web site to see what's new. RSS feeds allow you to pull content from many different sources—web pages, blogs, Twitter profile—into one web page, allowing you to quickly access the latest news from sites that interest you.

The first thing you need is a Feed Reader. You can use Google Reader as part of your Holy Cross Gmail account. Or, you can sign up for a free reader, such as Bloglines, Netvibes, or My MSN.

Look for these RSS symbols like these. They indicate that there is an RSS feed available.
