When searching for literary or film criticism, there are a few different keyword combinations you can try.
First, try a combination of Title and criticism or "literary/film criticism." for example if I was looking for works about Döblin's "The Murder of a Buttercup," I would try "The Murder of a Buttercup" and "criticism."
You can also try the Author/Director's name and criticism to find results about the authors whole body of work, or comparisons of different stories. So I might try Döblin and criticism or even Döblin and "short stories" and criticism.
You can also try the name of the work/author's name with different themes you'd like to examine within the work/s. For example i might try "Berlin: Symphony of a Metropolis" and "city symphony" or "Murder of a buttercup" and "Expressionism." Create a list of themes you're interested in and try different combinations until you find likely sources.
