*In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Reading Room will be closed to the public until further notice*
Using the Library
The Worcester Art Museum Library is available for use by the public free of charge, but is not a lending library. This means that members of the public may not check out books. The Library collections are available for use on site during Reading Room hours, or, by appointment.
Although the Library Reading Room is closed, the librarian is still happy to assist you virtually with questions about the museum, collections, and general art research. Please call the main library and leave a message, or, write to the librarian at library@worcesterart.org.
Book Donations
The Library cannot accept book donations from the public at this time. Here are some other options for donating books:
Personal Research Sessions (PRS): An opportunity for a more in-depth consultation on how to tackle specific research problems, or assistance using specific library resources. Consultations may take place via Zoom, Google Hangouts, or other options. Email library@worcesterart.org to make an appointment.
Reference Support: For general questions relating to the Museum's collections, assistance accessing and using library resources, or any other questions please email library@worcesterart.org.
Research Assistance: As access to the collections is limited, and many people are working from home, Rebecca is available to assist with conducting research on established projects. Established partnerships can be on a long or short term basis depending on researcher needs.
