To find out information about businesses in your town or city, first learn the NACIS code for the business you are looking for.
What is a NACIS code?

Search for a specific type of business. For example- "grocery store" or "liquor store."

Use the "Advanced Search" feature of data.census.gov to add "filters" for the industry code and the city you are researching.

Select a table to view
View the report, the number of establishments should be available. If it is not, try another recent report.
