Access to Holy Cross Electronic Resources

While you are abroad, you will have access to all of our electronic resources.  

You may need to use a VPN server to access these databases.  

InterLibrary Loan

While abroad, you have access through the Holy Cross Libraries to request electronic items (articles, scans of book chapters) via interlibrary loan.  

DC Semester - Georgetown University

If you are in Washington, DC for the DC Semester Program, you have access to the Georgetown University Libraries.  

  • Maryanne Finn,              mfinn@holycross.edu, will provide you with a library card for the Georgetown Library.
  • You may borrow up to six book at one time.  
  • The loan period for books is four weeks.  You can renew books three times.
  • To access the Georgetown University Library electronic databases, you must be in a Georgetown Library.  You will not be able to access any of the Georgetown databases remotely.
  • You will not have access to interlibrary loan services via the Georgetown University Library.  Remember that you are able to request electronic items (articles, scans of book chapters), using Holy Cross Libraries' interlibrary loan services
