While you are abroad, you will have access to all of our electronic resources.

All Databases from the HC Libraries
Use the drop-down menu in the upper left corner to select a category relevant to your topic.

You may need to use a VPN server to access these databases.

While abroad, you have access through the Holy Cross Libraries to request electronic items (articles, scans of book chapters) via interlibrary loan.

ILLIad Interlibrary Loan
If we do not have full text access to an article you are looking for, you can request it through interlibrary loan.

If you are in Washington, DC for the DC Semester Program, you have access to the Georgetown University Libraries.

Maryanne Finn, mfinn@holycross.edu, will provide you with a library card for the Georgetown Library.
You may borrow up to six book at one time.
The loan period for books is four weeks. You can renew books three times.
To access the Georgetown University Library electronic databases, you must be in a Georgetown Library. You will not be able to access any of the Georgetown databases remotely.
You will not have access to interlibrary loan services via the Georgetown University Library. Remember that you are able to request electronic items (articles, scans of book chapters), using Holy Cross Libraries' interlibrary loan services
