  • Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy - resource for health care workers, arranged by organ systems and categories of diseases, with useful facts, figures and rules of thumb.
  • Merck Manual of Geriatrics - survey of the many health care professions involved in geriatrics, plus categories of diseases, accidents, and adverse life events
  • Merck Manual of Medical Information - survey of general medical topics, followed by overviews of diseases affecting various organ symptoms. Useful appendixes include a directory of major charitable disease support groups.
  • Mysterious Human Heart - a three-part PBS series by David Grubin concentrating on the replacement heart, anatomy of a pacemaker, and myths & mysconceptions.  The site also includes information on the history of cardiology, the anatomy of the heart using a three-dimensional model, and a "Healthy Heart Guide" with tips for staying fit.
