A Guide To...Peace & Conflict Studies

This guide is a starting point for research in Peace & Conflict Studies. The guide includes recommended resources and tips for effective research.

Our professional librarians offer Personal Research Sessions (PRS) for current students, faculty, and staff.  Research Librarians are both experts in research strategies and deeply familiar with the many resources in the Libraries' collections, and can help with all aspects of the research process from exploring potential topics and brainstorming keywords, to searching for resources and even writing citations. PRS are for researchers at every level -- whether you are a student writing your first Montserrat paper, or a faculty member working on a book project.

When booking a PRS:

  • Make sure that you have checked both virtual and in-person appointments using the tabs in this box.
  • If the available slots don't work with your schedule, email libref@holycross.edu. Please note that at busy times of semester, we recommend scheduling an appointment at least one week in advance.

If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please email libref@holycross.edu as soon as possible with your name and the date/time of the slot you booked and, if you know it, the name of your librarian.
