Spring 2018 Alumni & Friends Book Discussion

About this discussion

Connect with faculty and other community members!
Join us for a lively, self-paced deep dive into Rebecca Skloot's critically-acclaimed The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. Over the course of five weeks beginning March 12, Holy Cross faculty members will lead us in a FREE online discussion that highlights the historic, ethical and scientific implications of this New York Times bestseller and its overarching
meaning for us today.

All alumni, parents and friends are encouraged to read the book, engage in self-paced weekly videos featuring our faculty moderators from biology, history and religious studies, and then participate in online discussion board threads.
This is a FREE online program - there is no fee for participation.

Holy Cross Online Learning is a new venture creating opportunities for enhanced engagement with off-campus communities and serving as a venue for faculty to continue to develop innovative instructional methods which also benefits our students on campus.
