While most of the books at Holy Cross are in English, the Libraries do have books written in other languages. Once you've done a search in the Holy Cross Library Catalog, you can limit your results to books from a particular language using the menu option on the left. The catalog also has an Advanced Search which allows limiting by language. There's a link to Advanced Search under the catalog search box.
Search tip: Try searching for terms about your topic in the foreign language. For example, if you are looking for books about war written in French, try searching for the French word for war, guerre.
You can also look for and borrow books from other libraries by searching WorldCat. The search page in WorldCat has a "language" drop-down menu where you can select to limit your search to the language of your choice.
The following resources provide access to a number of resources written in foreign languages. Use the Advanced Search option to limit by language.
