Where In the Library Do I Find???

JOURNALS - Shelved alphabetically by journal title.

New journals are single issues of journals published in the last 12 - 18 months-- usually the current calendar year plus issues from the previous calendar year. The new journals are located in front (East) end of the library.

Bound journals are several issues of journals bound together into a hard cover volume. Single issues of journals published more than 18 months ago are also located in the Bound Journals area. Older single issues and bound journals are located in the back (West) end of the library.

COMPUTERS

Eleven public computers and three printers are available for patron use. Printing is free for members of the Holy Cross community. Wireless Internet is available throughout the Library.

RESERVE MATERIALS

Reserve materials are located behind the circulation desk and can be checked-out at the circulation desk for 2 hour in-library use.

BOOKS

Books with call numbers starting with Q, R, S and T are located in the front (East) end of the library.  (Note that books beginning with "TR" are located in the Fine Arts wing of Dinand Library).

STUDY AREAS

All study areas, except for Study Room 1, are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Study Room 1 can be reserved for two hour blocks of time.

Tables are available for quiet collaborative or individual study.

Study rooms are available for collaborative or individual study.

Carrels are available for individual study.
